An adjustable bench turns a pair of dumbbells or a barbell rack into a full upper-body setup: flat and incline presses, rows, seated shoulder presses and, on some benches, decline work. Before buying, check how many back pad angles it has, whether it declines, its rated capacity and how much floor space it takes when stored.

Every specification on this page comes from the manufacturer’s own product page, checked on 26 October 2026. We have not used these products ourselves, so the picks are based on published specifications only.

For building the rest of a home setup, see our home gym equipment guide.

How we chose these

  • Back and seat pad angles published.
  • Rated weight capacity stated, and whether it changes with the angle.
  • Dimensions and bench weight listed.
  • Wheels or a handle for moving it.

Capacity figures are each maker’s rating for user plus load. Titan rates its TITAN Series bench differently flat and inclined.
