Keeping Bar Stools Dust Free
When a residence is located near a busy, high traffic area, the contents inside the home such as bar stools do have the habit of becoming dust magnets. Bar stools are most likely dust magnets when they are not used, and are simply for show. Although bar stools can become a good visual effect to the home decor, usually they are simply another item to keep clean.
Depending on the type of bar stools located in the home, will decide the amount of dust which lies in the crevices and moving parts of the furniture. It is extremely important to clean the bar stools thoroughly of all dust and debris located in the moving parts as well as the actual chair part. Any kind of dust is not a healthy practice to keep a clean energy flow throughout the home.
Although, when bar stools are used on a regular basis the seat and the back if equipped can look fairly clean to the untrained eye. The main cleaning or dusting concern lies in the other parts of the bar stools. Such as the wood detail, or the swivel parts. Even the legs are usually in desperate need of the dusting tender loving care, when setting the dusting wheels into motion.
There are several ways to pick dust up instead of using techniques that push the dust into other areas of the dusted surface. A person whom is dusting wooden bar stools on a daily or weekly basis, should make a mixture of some sort of wood cleaner along with water, then use an old wash rag or pieces of an old bed sheet. These materials when used with a soap and water mixture
, pick up the dust into the rag instead of pushing the dust onto the floor or embedding it into the grooves of the wood.
When using a selected furniture soap and water conglomeration and a selected dusting rag. Make certain the rag is simply dampened and not saturated. A saturated dusting rag will leave trails of the cleaning fluid on the wooden furniture and the bar stools will not gleam to their original luster prior to cleaning.
When these trails are left on the furniture, the bar stools look hideous, and one can tell that whoever cleaned the furniture was definitely in a huge hurry to get the task done, and did not take the time to do it right.
When the bar stools are cleaned using the proper procedure, such as beginning at the top of the back of the wooden bar stools and ending up with the bottom of the legs, the bar stool should be restored to its original look. Especially, when a wood restoration or protection soap is used with a sufficient amount of water and the correct dusting cloth.
In summary, wooden bar stools do spruce up a plain home. They add a special touch of elegance to even the most humble home, and should be included in the furniture ensemble when a bar or kitchen island is present. Otherwise the interior of the home can look a tad bit empty.
